LSCW 2012

The LSCW 2012 workshop with a theme: TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More), held from 7th – 19th October 2012 at Royal Park Hotel, Iloko -Ijesha, Osun State with 23 participants in attendance drawn from different projects and programmes from within and outside Nigeria. It was facilitated by Benjamin Lozare, Director of training and Associate Director, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Center for Communication Programs and Babafunke Fagbemi, Executive Director Center for Communication and Social Impact. Organizations represented include: AIDS Prevention Initiative Nigeria (APIN), Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (Ile-Ife, Osun State), Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health Initiative NURHI, Cross Rivers State Malaria Control Program, Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) Abuja, Centre for Communication Programs-Kenya and Cote d’Ivoire, Shell Petroleum Cooperation of Nigeria, Association of Reproductive Health ARFH, PATHS 2, Uganda Health Marketing Group(UHMG), Rwanda Biomedical Centre/ Rwanda Health Communication Centre, Centre for Integrated Health Programs (CIHP), Defence Head- Quarters Abuja, TY Danjuma Foundation, National Blood Transfusion Service(NBTS), NetWorks and JHU-CCP Tanzania.
